Successful writers know their audience, subject matter, reason for writing, and the conventions of standard written English. If your audience is your classmates, your subject matter is yourself, and your reason for writing is to introduce yourself, what would you write? What would you chose to include and what would you exclude?
For Wednesday, write a brief (between 300-500 words) introduction to yourself so that we can get to know each other quickly. Consider what you want to know about your classmates when constructing your introduction. Remember, you'll have a chance to ask questions and respond to each others' introductions in the comments part of the blog entries.
Have fun doing this, but remember to proofread carefully. I look forward to reading these entries!
My name is Tina Daley and I am a Criminal Justice major. I was born in Ft. Lauderdale and moved to Lehigh Acres about 5 years ago. Since i've been here I have gotten to know the place pretty good but its so boring you might just lose your mind. I am happy that i enrolled in FGCU, because it is close and i like the way their curriculum is set up. During my enrollment i am looking forward to getting a great education, since I'm paying for it and also some friends that can influence my education in a positive way. My social life is pretty awesome too, I am very easy to get along with and i also love to party(LOL). but thats pretty much all i can say for now but I hope during these six weeks i can get to know my classmates and hopefully continue on in the fall.
